📢A little update from your Long Stratton Eyecare team 📢

This week there is a temporary change to our opening hours. On Tuesday 24th February we will be closed and on Friday, 27th February, we’ll be closing the practice slightly earlier than usual — at 2:00pm —to get on the road as we’re heading down to the UK Optical Trade Show in London.

As well as hunting for beautiful new eyewear, we’ll be taking part in team training, attending talks from leading eye‑care professionals, and catching up with other independent practices. It’s a brilliant chance for us to stay up to date, inspired, and full of fresh ideas — all so we can keep doing our very best for the eyes of our Long Stratton community.

This is just a temporary change for this week. We’ll be back to our normal hours from Monday 3rd March at 9:00am.

We can’t wait to share everything we discover — from smart workwear styles to fabulously funky shapes and colours. There’s lots of lovely things coming.

Today we’re celebrating Karen, one of our brilliant dispensing team and our very own contact lens whizz 🤓✨

You might also know her as “the lady with the red glasses” 👓❤️ — Karen is fearless when it comes to spec choices and somehow manages to rock every single pair. And yes… she’s done it again. A brand new pair of specs is on the way and due to arrive later this week 👀✨ Big reveal pending…

Karen isn’t in the practice today (as is only right!) because she’s off celebrating her birthday 🎂 We’re hoping this includes a very nice birthday lunch somewhere special… hint hint to the husband 😜🍽️
