😊👣 This is something I often get asked so thought I would put this out there in order to explain clearly the difference between a Foot Health Practitioner and a Chiropodist/Podiatrist.
✔️ Yes we both look after your feet in similar yet different ways.
✔️ We can work individually or together we can compliment each others skills.
✔️ We can refer to one another for complex issues or offload more straightforward cases if we have a heavy workload.
😊👣 When choosing your foot care provider, all you need to decide is who you like and be sure you feel comfortable and confident in their hands.

It includes a detailed foot assessment, removal of corns/calluses using sterile tools, nail shaping and treatment of skin/nail conditions, finished with a relaxing foot massage and optional polish.

Key Components of a Medical Pedicure

Initial Assessment: A foot health professional reviews your foot health, examining skin and nails for fungal infections, infections, or issues like thick, brittle nails.

Dry Treatment: Unlike traditional pedicures, a medical pedicure is often performed on dry feet to allow for better visualization of calluses and to ensure safe, precise removal of hard skin.
