Making change is hard and it’s likely your brain at times will try to convince you to not take those next steps. Remind yourself that this is just your brain trying to keep you safe, but you are safe and you can take the steps needed to get you to where you want to go 💪.

In the next few weeks I’ll be starting my supervisor training.

Regular supervision ensures that I get the support I need to grow and develop as a therapist and also the personal support needed through the ups and downs of running a business and being a therapist.

I’m really looking forward to now being at the point to start training myself as a supervisor. I know I’ll be able to bring all the experience I’ve gained growing a successful practice, previously being a CPHT lecturer and my past experiences of teaching, running networking communities and my degree in psychology 👏 exciting times 🥰

I’m looking for volunteer supervisees to work with me while I’m training - please drop me a message if you’d like to volunteer* 🙏🙌

*this won’t count towards your supervision hours but you’ll get the bonus of extra supervision and support for free ☺️

It can be easy to get stuck in an overthinking cycle our brains like certainty and overthinking can feel like control.
We can tap into part of our imagination and ask ourselves questions like what would future me thank me for doing next? Then take that next small step towards it.
let me know what the next small step you’re going to take to move yourself towards where you want to be in life or business.

We can’t function well when we are constantly on high alert, the executive functioning part of our brain is off-line more so things like memory, focus, organisation creativity, concentration is all harder.
Rest is needed for the brain function at its best.
If rest feels hard right now, remember to start small and then repeat.
