No Show Appointments

We have been through difficult times. Every single one of us. Keeping local alive is so important now as it always has and will be.

Not showing up for an appointment even though receiving reminders by different streams of communication is not good enough! A simple text or call isn't much to ask.

Being self employed is hard enough. I have a waiting list and a no show slot cannot be filled meaning that others miss out and I have to find the time to make up for that missing slot.

A no show = no new appointment or an option of double payment upon booking after speaking directly with myself. This will be non-refundable.

👣 NEW TREATMENT 👣

It's been a long time since I've been on here guys but rest assured I've been working away behind the scenes to learn, research and continue to bring in the latest foot innovations.

Here we have Verrutop. I've been trialing this for the past 4 months and I'm really impressed with the results. As many of you know I only bring in good products and techniques to Feet@TheClinic.

Verrucas are a nightmare of a virus (no relation to Covid!) and many over the counter or even professional treatments tend to fail. This treatment isn't guaranteed but I have found it to be the best yet.

The video below gives you all the information with regards to the treatment and what to expect. Its not one of my infamous videos but keep your eyes pealed!

Happy New Year to you all.

Its been a crazy year for us all but I would like to thank all of you who continue to support my small business, spread the word, share my posts and keep me sane and laughing on our appointments!

We are currently in Teir 4 but I am pleased to say that I am able to carry on practicing. All appointments in January will be going ahead as it stands.

Here's to fixing up more feet in 2021!

A polite reminder and notice.

If you are unable to attend your appointment PLEASE let me know. No-show appointments will be charged at full price from January 2021.

Running a small business in these times are hard and just not showing up takes it effect in more ways than one.

Everyone receives a reminder text and/or email 24 hours before which will change to 48 hours from January. There is a link on this text and/or email to cancel or reschedule the appointment. Please use it.
From January 2021 all rescheduled or cancelled appointments under 24 hours will incure a 50% charge.

New product range alert 📢

I'm now supplying some of the products in the Gehwol range. Working with feet everyday I cannot rate these products enough. For me it's some of the best on the market.

They smell good and do what they say they will.

Gehwol was established in Germany in 1868 means 'walk well'. They've been around so long o think its safe to say their pretty good!

Their foot care products are great for preventing and maintaining proper foot health.

If you haven't tried them you need to!

Lest we never forget.

Trench foot.

From 1914-1918 WW1 there were over 50,000 reported cases of Trench foot.

100 years ago Soldiers were issued with 3 pairs of socks and required to change them 2 x per day to try and keep their feet warm and dry. When wool became scarce, women would unpick jumpers to knit socks to send the soldiers.
These men suffered in so many ways so we can live the life we do today.

This picture is of checks to the soldiers feet in the trenches. What an amazing piece of history and how very lucky we are.

Following yesterday's announcement I just wanted to let you all know that I am able to continue practicing as I am classed as healthcare.

If you have an appointment booked from this Thursday 5th November onwards you are still able to attend your appointment. No appointments will be cancelled so if you would like to change anything please contact me directly or log onto the booking system. Please give at least 24 hours notice where possible.

Brand new verruca treatment pending.....

Always researching, always staying on top of the latest foot treatments to bring to you guys.

Verrucas are notoriously difficult to treat successfully but what I'm about to launch has a 90% success rate.

Verrucas are part of the HPV virus that causes the likes of cold sores. This pesky virus can lay dormant under the skin for years and can spread during a break out. It is commonly thought that you can just 'catch' a verruca but this isn't true. The skin has to be broken - not by much, as little as a paper cut for example - for the virus to bed in. Your immune system doesn't often know its there and it sits quite happily away doing its thing.

Treatments that don't work on a verruca:

Duct tape
Sticking garlic to it
Apple cider vinegar
Picking (this can transfer the virus to the hand)
And my favourite to date .....rubbing bacon on it!

My favourite kind of Sunday 💫

Receiving messages like this gives me the best vibes. A happy, confident patient who's now been seeing me for 2 years. When I first met this patient they were nervous, especially for me to look at their feet. Now their showing them off to the world! ✨

This is a Pedisafe reconstruction on the big toe. You wouldn't even know it isn't a natural nail. It has been on for 3 months and still looking great. I cannot guarantee the time that the reconstruction lasts as it varies for each patient.

Making people feel more confident about their feet is the best feeling to me.

Whatever the foot issue I will always go that extra mile to help restore confidence to whip your socks off one again! There is nothing I haven't seen or anything that phases me. Upon stepping into my clinic everything is strictly private and confidential.
