MANAGE YOUR STRESS
In a healthy person both the Sympathetic and Parasympathetic nervous systems work in balance and work well. However, when under prolonged stress the consequences for people can lead to problems both physically and psychologically. These effects can be relatively short term such as headaches, insomnia, elevated blood pressure etc. Psychological effects include panic attacks, aggression, anxiety and low mood. Longer term the effects can be even more serious and include physical problems such as stomach ulcers, stroke etc and psychologically, chronic depression and emotional breakdown.
Therapy needs to be multi faceted. As a Clinical Hypnotherapist I work holistically, in other words, looking at the entirety of what is happening and why. I believe that attention to detail is very important and I use a variety of techniques and strategies to help people help themselves. Clinical Hypnotherapy really does help people to bring about necessary positive change. Every patient is different and every appointment is tailored to move things forward.
