Got a BST hangover today? 🥱

⏰️ Losing an hour of sleep throws off your Circadian Rhythm and can take up to a week to adjust to. The disruption in hormonal peaks through the day can affect your perceived exertion and limit normal recovery rates.

The Fix:
🌞 Get sunlight in early to help reset the "Master Clock" in your brain
☕️ No caffeine after 2pm!
💤 Give yourself a 7-day "grace period" before expecting everything to be back to normal

Is your fatigue or injury just dehydration? 💧

When you're just 2% DEHYDRATED, your physical performance drops and your recovery slows down even more! 👎

Making hydration key all day, every day:

- JOINT LUBRICATION: Your cartilage is roughly 80% water, so dehydration = increased friction = "cranky" joints. ⚙️

- TISSUE ELASTICITY: Like dried beef jerky, muscles are more likely to "snap" if dehydrated. Hydrated muscle acts more like a prime steak; supple, can take a beating and ready for the "sear" of high-intensity exercsie. Don't let your soft tissue turn to leather! 🍖

- COGNITIVE LOAD: Your brain actually shrinks when dehydrated, causing headaches and making it work harder to perform the same tasks. It can also make reaction time worse which is not ideal during sprint sessions or when making that split decision to dodge a pothole! 🧠

*TOP Tip* Don't just chug water, take small drinks throughout the day and add electrolytes if want to make sure you absorb that fluid! ✨️

Since September, it’s been a privilege supporting the Sprint Squad here in Loughborough. 🏃💨

To keep up with the world-class program provided by Coach Leon Baptiste, our team has been providing weekly Sports Massage to ensure these athletes are performing at their peak.

With the dedicated help of our Apprentices and , and seamless collaboration with , we’ve helped these athletes:
✅ Recover faster between high-intensity sessions.
✅ Manage winter niggles effectively.
✅ Stay resilient throughout their training block.

It’s been an absolute pleasure working with such a driven, positive group. To those heading back to India this weekend: safe travels! We look forward to seeing you back in the clinic or emerging on the international stage soon. 🌏🏆
