UKAD recently launched an Asthma Inhaler Threshold Calculator as part of our resources - helping athletes who suffer with asthma or other breathing conditions to understand when their inhaler use is prohibited in sport ✅

The calculator is simple to use. The user inputs the substance, the number of puffs they take and the dose. The calculator then works out the final amounts and whether the inhaler use is permitted or prohibited in sport. The tool helps to explain the conditional anti-doping status of these four substances - inhaled formoterol, inhaled salbutamol, inhaled salmeterol, and inhaled vilanterol.

Visit our asthma inhaler webpage for information on asthma inhalers, and scroll down to the calculator to get your results ⬇️

Sport is built on integrity, respect, and fair play.
When someone chooses to dope, they’re not just cheating, but they're harming their health and the spirit of fair competition.

Protect Your Sport, if you suspect someone of doping, don’t stay silent. Report it.
