🎃🌟 What a spooktacular week we've had at Meadows Park! Our residents have embraced the Halloween spirit with a week filled with exciting activities and treats. On Wednesday, the creative juices flowed with some delightful Halloween windchime crafts. Thursday brought sweet delights as residents made their very own chocolate apples with the charming Amanda 🍏.

The grand finale on Friday was a Halloween party to remember! Our dedicated staff donned amazing costumes, with special applause to Jake and the kitchen team for their mouth-watering treats. A big thank you to Lizzie for her enchanting decoration of the spooky cake—it was the icing on a fang-tastic week! 🎂

We are grateful to everyone involved in creating such joyful memories. Stay tuned for more exciting events!

🍂 At Meadows Park, we had an incredible Thursday with our "Taste of Tanglewood" event! Our enjoyable afternoon kicked off beautifully with the whimsical tunes from “The Creaking Bones” ukulele band — what a treat! Residents, their families, and friends all joined in for a sing-along 🎶, filling the room with joy.

Following the musical fun, everyone savoured a remarkable menu crafted by our talented Head Chef Ryan and our lovely Heather and Rachel. From a delicious sweet potato and butternut squash soup to a charming harvest-themed charcuterie board, and finishing off with a delectable homemade pumpkin pie paired with Chantilly cream 🍰 – it was truly a joyful feast!

Our remarkable care team ensured everything was served with warmth and smiles, making sure everyone felt cherished throughout the afternoon. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us to make it a wonderfully memorable day! 🍁❤️

This week our residents and staff have embraced the vibrant spirit of Diwali by donning traditional attire and letting their creativity shine through the creation of stunning crafts. From intricate art to spirited costumes, the whole house has been illuminated with joy and festive cheer. The delightful sounds of chatter and laughter filled the air as we came together to make beautiful memories during this joyous occasion. 🕯️❤️

🌶️ Exciting flavours are on the horizon at Meadows Park! In preparation for our "Taste of Tanglewood" event on Thursday, residents and staff alike have come together to craft delicious homemade chilli jam and chutneys, beautifully complementing our charcuterie boards and harvest treats.

Under the expert guidance of Chef Ryan and the creative touch of our talented Eliana, we've rolled up our sleeves and poured love into every jar. It's sure to be an event full of incredible tastes and joyful moments to savour together! We look forward to sharing these gourmet goodies with everyone! 💕
