Halfway House 5 Pitch Caravan Site

A small adult only 5 grass pitch caravan site situated just outside the historic market town of Louth, Lincolnshire. Dog friendly.

Electric hookups to all pitches, toilets and chemical disposal point. Newly Refurbished and Re-Opened in 2025, we are a quiet adult only 5 pitch caravan/motorhome site with sheltered grass pitches. We can offer electric hookups to every pitch, toilets and chemical disposal point. Well behaved pets are very welcome, we have a large meadow area for exercise. Located on the B1200 Manby Road towards Saltfleetby just outside the historic market town of Louth (market day is every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday). Situated on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, the major towns of Lincoln, Grimsby and Skegness are within approx. a 30 minute drive and we are close to the coastal towns of Cleethorpes, Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea. A short drive takes you to the dog friendly beaches of Theddlethorpe nature reserve, Anderby Creek and Huttoft. Fishing and golfing are also within a few miles.

As we step into 2026, we just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s supported us so far — whether you’ve stayed with us, followed our journey, or cheered us on while we’ve been busy making improvements behind the scenes.

SURPRISING DAD WITH A JOHN DEERE CHRISTMAS TRACTOR

Leaving Oliver and Calum in charge while Dad went on holiday was always going to end one way… 😅

We secretly hired a John Deere, covered it in Christmas lights, and waited for him to come home.
His reaction? Worth every second.

While Dad was away on holiday, Oliver and Calum probably shouldn’t have been left unsupervised… 😬

One idea turned into another, and before we knew it there was a John Deere, Christmas lights everywhere, and a plan to keep it hidden until he got home.

He thinks he’s just coming back to the campsite…

🌿 New Behind The Pitches Episode – Live at 6PM 🌿

Tonight’s episode is a bit different — we’re sharing how we ended up buying the campsite, and the story behind it all. What started as an idea slowly turned into Halfway House Touring… with Ged playing a big part along the way.

It’s been a quieter week on site with Ged away on holiday, but we did manage some small jobs (roof felt ✔️ even if the footage didn’t survive a full SD card 🤦‍♂️).

Back to full action next week with plenty more campsite jobs and improvements planned.

✨ Campsite Upgrade Update! ✨

Big progress this week — we’ve officially moved the shed, and it’s now on its way to becoming our brand-new campsite reception! 🏡🎉

This will make arrivals smoother, give guests a better check-in experience, and help shape the new entrance layout for 2026 and beyond.

We’re also continuing with electrical improvements and general site upgrades as we prepare for another busy season at Halfway House Touring.

Newly established in 2017, we are an adult only quiet 5 pitch caravan/motorhome site set in 0.66 acres of sheltered grass pitches. We can offer electric hookups to every pitch, toilets and chemical disposal point. Well behaved pets are very welcome, dog walk on site. Located on the B1200 Manby Road towards Saltfleetby just outside the historic market town of Louth (market day is every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday). Look for the Freedom Camping Club flag flying! Situated on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, the major towns of Lincoln, Grimsby and Skegness are within approx. a 30 minute drive and we are close to the coastal towns of Cleethorpes, Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea.
