A lovely message came through today which cheered me up! It is lovely to know we are making a difference.

Thanks for all those that support us to help others.

Everyone knows of someone struggling with this disease or has experience from a carer’s perspective. We want to try to lighten the load a little by giving a Bob’sBrainwaves Handy Help Pack at the point of diagnosis to help families navigate their journey ahead.

We are now in East Lindsey, West Lindsey, North Hykeham Witham Court, Boston and NELincs. We are always looking to expand further around Lincolnshire as we know the need is great.

We are grateful to all the NHS Staff and charities and our communities who help us to get the packs to those that need them the most. We are grateful to Rebecca Lynch from the Widgit company who continues to support us with their specialist signage.

We wish you a Happy Christmas and a Healthy and Peaceful 2026!

We recently attended the Meridian Singers concert in Fulstow. They held a raffle for Bob’sBrainwaves. It was packed to the rafters and full of Christmassy cheer.
Special thanks to all the lovely singers, young lady soloist Ariana ( hope I’ve not misspelt) as well as David and Jill Parker, musical directors and gifted musicians- their piano duet was simply stunning.
It was lovely to see so many of you that we know particularly from Chris’s teaching days.

We managed to meet lots of prospective new colleagues for when we move to Spalding, The Deepings and Holbeach in 2026 when we visited the networking event held at St Norbert’s Church and hall in Spalding today.

A quick talk and update was given by Chris to visitors and interested parties and suffice to say there is a lot of excitement and interest to get the Bob’sBrainwaves Handy Help Packs to this new area. Chris also spread the word about the Widgit packs and how they can aid communication and understanding especially with Dementia or Memory Loss. These simple signs and pictures with words are unique to Bob’sBrainwaves and researched with carers who were asked what they wanted and would find useful for around the home. Four packs are already on the Bob’sBrainwaves website. Free to download.

Fay Gorwood talking about her Sky Dive in 2024. She came to the launch to tell everyone all about it. Touched by Dementia in her lived experiences she knows how important Bob’sBrainwaves is to families and carers when first diagnosed. She is such an amazing lady and continues to support us in any way she can.

Nearly there…… looking forward to our packs going out to even more families and carers of loved ones with a Dementia diagnosis in North East Lincs.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at our launch morning at Centre4 tomorrow! ….and a little bird tells me that Chris our founder may be on Look North publicising the packs on Saturday!
