Great to catch up with Anne and Johnny who run the Alford Dementia Support Group. Their table top was filled with information and so pleased that their cat came too. Always a talking point with young and old. We are always glad to support them with our Bob’s Brainwaves Handy Help Packs.

What a great event today in Alford. Thank you to Gill Marsh and all the lovely ladies and gentlemen that helped to make this event so successful and also to the Rotary Club of Alford and Mablethorpe - it was great to catch up. I bought some cakes for Bob and the care home staff and they were all very happy.

Looking forward to speaking at this event today at Navenby, The Venue.
Hoping to meet lots of carers. Thanks to Carers First for inviting me.

Join us for a free, supportive day designed for carers accessing help from the Lincolnshire Carers Service. The event offers a mix of learning, practical support, and wellbeing activities to help you in your caring role.

You can expect morning workshops focusing on skills, information and support, as well as a free lunch for carers, and a marketplace of stallholders offering local information, resources, and services useful to carers.

Take a look on our website to find out more about the day and how to book your place https://eu1.hubs.ly/H0r75BB0

Pat King, our Treasurer and I had a trip to Skeggy Rotary Club on Tuesday. It was particularly lovely for me to see lots of members who knew us really well as Bob and I worked and lived in Skegness for many years and in addition Bob attended Skegness Rotary Club. He is now an honorary member something that is really special.
The big surprise was that they gave us a donation too. President Tamara Good presented us with a cheque with Members of Rotary Rob Wilkinson. Also present in the picture is Ian Whalley MBE from National Coastwatch who was the speaker for the evening.

Another busy and joyous day bowling at the Memory Cafe in Louth on Wednesday.

We had a visit from Pete Rafferty, Worshipful Master of Daylight Lodge 9748 Louth and Mike Kelly. They presented us with a £ 500 cheque which is amazing. We are truly appreciative of this donation which will help us to help more families navigate their journey caring for a loved one with Dementia at home.
Bob’sBrainwaves Handy Help Packs are given out at point of diagnosis in the Memory Support Services and some Memory Cafes and although we don’t post out we can direct via our website to nearest venue where a pack can be picked up.

Thankyou to all the lovely family of Basil Reeson especially Carole England who organised a donation to Bob’sBrainwaves in lieu of presents for Basil’s 80 th birthday. We are all amazed at this kindness and are truly appreciative. Thank you and to Basil 🥳🎉💐🥰 we hope you had a lovely birthday.

Your donation will help a dozen families get a Bob’sBrainwaves Handy Help Pack which will help them navigate their journey when they get a diagnosis for their loved one.

Brilliant!
