What to expect at your first appointment with Total Balance🤍
NEW CLIENT APPOINTMENT:
✨Welcome to the centre:
Our lovely front of house team will give you a warm welcome to the centre and offer you a hot or cold drink while you wait to see your practitioner.
✨Getting to know you:
Your practitioner will welcome you to the centre and begin your appointment, this is your chance to talk through your history, any aches and pains, stress, lack of sleep, any injuries and your general lifestyle.
✨Gentle examination:
Don’t be nervous, your practitioner will talk you through each step of your physical examination. This includes, a feeling of your spine, viewing gentle movements and checking reflexes. Some assessments may require removing of clothes and getting into a gown provided, this is so your practitioner can ensure you are getting a thorough examination. You will be left privately to do so if needed.
✨Advise and extra tests explained:
During your appointment your practitioner may advise you some exercises and movements to practise to help your process of healing. They may also advise certain products to help with your pain, which can be purchased in the centre. If your practitioner thinks it is necessary, you may be recommended to have an x-ray with us in the centre, this is only if your practitioner thinks they will benefit from having an extra option of viewing problems in the body.
✨Next steps:
You will finally be taken back to our reception and be booked in for your report of findings appointment. This is the first time where you can receive your first treatment if wanted. In your report of findings your treatment plan will be set and you will receive all the information your practitioner got from your first exam and what they can do to help you going forward.
