Our intrepid Falcons were back on the pitch yesterday, battling it out in some rather blustery weather 😅 The result may not have been what they wanted but their determination and heart make us proud to be their sponsors.

🏆 Player of the Match – U13 Falcons 🏆
Name: Maxwell
Position: dedicated defender
Match: Gorleston Rangers Falcons U13s vs Bohemians Lions u13s
Date: 29th March 2026

🔥 Maxwell is player of the match! In the cup
Semifinal when you need your players to stand up and be counted Maxwell stood head and shoulders above the rest!

💬 Coach’s Comment: “In a match against top of the table opposition Maxwell gave his all, working hard at the back and delivering some excellent corners at the other end, he really stood out for me today”

🌸We’re ready to spring into the coming season

Flower arranging is a simple activity that is a perfect mix of sensory fun and creative expression. It is a relaxing way to experiment with colours and textures to make something beautiful whilst enjoying the scents of the season.

For those with less green thumbs, we’ve also been creating some Easter artwork ahead of the bank holiday weekend.

Whether it’s a mosaic Easter egg or a set of freshly bloomed stems, we’re fully embracing the colours of Spring! 🌸

Another superb result for the Falcons on Sunday against fellow Gorleston Rangers team, the Harriers 🦅

🏆 Player of the Match – U13 Falcons 🏆
Name: Noah
Position: Everywhere
Match: Gorleston Rangers Falcons U13s vs Gorleston Rangers Harriers u13s
Date: 22nd March 2026
Result: Falcons 3 - 0 Harriers

🔥 Noah is player of the match! An inter club derby today and Noah stepped up. Showing just how much of a versatile player he is, Noah played as a no. 10, a winger as well as left and right centre back! Scored a lovely goal to get the game flowing.

💬 Coach’s Comment: “Noah showed just how adaptable he is and his willingness to play wherever helps the team best today is admirable. Was so unlucky not to score some great headed goals today but a great game nonetheless”

It has been a day of the cutest visitors at Lound Hall!

Those of you familiar with the team will know that our Carers, Nadine and James, have been awaiting the arrival of their first child together and today they dropped in with their gorgeous boy, Luca 👶🏻 Luca was a big hit with the staff and residents alike and at less than a week old is already claiming hearts 💕

This afternoon, Bonnie the PAT dog did the rounds, keeping those beaming smiles firmly fixed on faces for the rest of the day 🐶

The bond between carers and residents is something quietly powerful—built not in big moments, but in the steady rhythm of everyday care. It grows through small acts: helping someone get ready in the morning, remembering how they like their tea, noticing when something feels “off” before a word is spoken.

Over time, trust becomes the foundation. Residents rely on carers not just for physical support, but for dignity, comfort, and a sense of safety. And carers, in turn, often come to know residents in deeply personal ways—their stories, habits, humour, and even the things they struggle to express.
It’s not purely professional, and it’s not quite familial—it sits somewhere in between. There’s compassion without expectation, patience without condition.
At its best, this bond is about preserving humanity. It says: you are seen, you are valued, and you matter—even in the most vulnerable moments.

Thank you to all our carers who show up on the good days, the bad days and all the days in between. You too, are seen, you are valued and you matter.

Mother’s Day is an opportunity to honour the lives, memories, and contributions of mothers and mother figures, reminding them that they are appreciated and loved.
It is always our pleasure to care for so many wonderful mothers who devoted their lives to caring for their children but today we hope everyone felt a little extra love.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers out there 💐
