This morning, our Level 1 Care Start students explored the effects of dementia and stroke by using the age simulation suit.

Wearing the suit, students attempted simple tasks like walking and writing, what seemed ordinary quickly became a challenge, prompting meaningful discussions about empathy, patience and the importance of person-centered care.

Last week, we were welcomed by Bluebird Care East Suffolk & Great Yarmouth to deliver the End of Life Care course at the Northeast Suffolk Business Centre.

Staff explored the different views on death and dying and how to support families who struggle with losing a loved one, a sensitive topic which they found to be 'impactful'.
