A full-circle moment for our Eversley Lodge Nursing Home family 🙌
When Danielle Bullent, Manager at Eversley Lodge Care Home in Great Yarmouth, arranged a visit to the Time and Tide Museum, it became far more personal than expected.
Over 20 years ago, Danielle, aged 18 and pregnant with her first son was invited to model for the museum during its redevelopment from the former Tower Fish Curing Works.
She stood for hours covered in plaster of Paris while moulds were created, resulting in a lifelike figure that remains on display today.
On the visit, residents learned about Danielle’s remarkable story — including how local charity GFS Platform supported her as a young mother and helped shape her determination to succeed.
Now 40, Danielle returned with residents and her son Jay, who had once visited the museum without realising his mum was part of the exhibition.
