So pleased to share that we have just launched a new e-learning course for our Maintenance Teams across our services - created using the fantastic Breeio authoring tool.

The new 'PAT testing' course is ideal for our Maintenance Teams who are responsible for ensuring the safety of portable electrical appliances across the Kingsley Healthcare Group.

PAT testing involves the inspection and testing of appliances to confirm they are safe to use. The course also covers how to determine appropriate testing timescales based on risk and usage.

We're so pleased to be able to start expanding the training available for our Maintenance Teams - so, keep your eyes peeled as there's more coming soon....

I received my first two Plush Donations today for the First Aid Awareness Day at Eversley Lodge on Saturday 13th September.

I'm still looking for more donations of new or old plush toys and teddy bears for our little learners please. These cuddly friends will be our 'patients' for the day, allowing children to get hands-on and practice essential first aid skills such as bandaging and CPR.

Your donated teddy could help a child learn how to save a life!

After the training, each child gets to keep the teddy bear they worked on, as a special reminder of the important skills they’ve learned.

If you have any soft toys you can donate, I would be so grateful. I'm also more than happy to come and collect them, making it easy and convenient for you.

Please help us give children a fun, practical way to learn vital first aid skills, saving the day one teddy at a time! 💛
