SENIOR SUPPORT WORKER
JOB OPPORTUNITY
We are looking to recruit a Senior Support Worker to join our successful team. Ideally you will already be working in a similar role and looking for a fresh opportunity or you may be an experienced Carer and looking to advance your career.
Duties will include - to support and mentor new and existing staff while out in the community as well as carrying out routine spot checks to ensure support staff are working as expected. To assist the Management with the on-call phone system, ensuring that all issues and queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently. To ensure that paperwork in the client’s home is up to date and complete. Any paperwork, reviews or amendments should be completed or liaised with the Management. To share the workload with Managers, helping to cover staff shortages and assist with rota problems.
We pride ourselves on providing the highest level of care and support in the Ludlow, Craven Arms and Church Stretton areas, enabling our clients to remain independent and living in their own home. This varied position includes providing personal care to offering practical and emotional support. The ideal candidate must be kind, compassionate and dedicated as well as demonstrate effective team leading skills.
Benefits include a competitive rate of pay, 5.6 weeks holiday per annum, paid mileage, pension and free uniform, as well as continued training and ongoing support. Ideally the successful candidate should have a full and clean driving license and a NVQ level 3 or above in Health and Social Care, or relevant experience.
