The dawn of 2026 has made me reflective about what I want me work to stand for. Who is my community, who do I serve? These were bigger questions for me than just some marketing brief, I wanted to think of ways I could better use my skills and purpose to as a spiritual endeavour.

In the absence of a person to help me chart that journey, I have turned to astronomy, and the transits of the asteroid Vesta, who represents Sacred Service in astrology.

I thought you might find the reasons why I have done it interesting, and to find ways you might also be able to use the Vesta Director Framework to inform your own vocational and spiritual practices.

On the run up the Christmas, we hear the word frankincense many times...but what is it, where did it come from and what in Heaven's name does it have to do with the Queen of Sheba.

I recorded this in lockdown and it never ceases to make me giggle. I have no recollection of writing it, or rehearsing, yet I must have done because it the amount of stuff I remember is phenomenal.

So why make a video on "How Aromatherapy Works"?

Well, Dexter and I have been working really hard at understanding how to YouTube because our ambition is to shift how aromatherapy is represented there.. away from quick fixes and to try to move it more towards professional depth.

(Just a small thing then!)

So here’s our first step…

The most basic aspects of our therapy, but going really, really deep.

Now, YouTube is a fairly good judge of quality, but it does rely on engagement from viewers to decide if its something it would like to recommend to other watchers, so...

Here's my wishlist....
1. Ideally watch it, to the end if possible. The algorithm records how fast people click away, so if you are bored, you have my permission to mute it while you do the ironing. That will really help!
2. Please ike and comment...or even share if you do like it.
3. Best of all, if you stay to watch another video, which will make the algorithm positvely ecstatic!

I'm sorry for being late posting this week's post about the sacral chakra! What a fascinating journey it has been, filing all about the physical aspects of sacral chakra dis-ease, then thinking about oils to support those pivotal ones to heal. Thinking about the sacral chakra oils for the emotions with Adam, and then I sunk down in the Red Tent and thought about some bee wisdom to go with the spirital aspects of the oils. Thank you all so much for the warm reception you have given my Essential Oils for the Root Chakra video. I found it really intriguing to make thinking about nuances of root chakra issues that I wouldn't have thought of, when I first learned this thirty years ago. The root chakra pertains to how secure we feel, and at home we feel with ourselves.. So now I have spent time with people who have dealt with trauma, with abuse, who have refugee status, or have been persecuted because of their heritage or sexulaity. So many reason to feel scared, all being parsed through one set of organs, one energy centre and of course through the nervous system.
