April 20th through the 25th is all about endings.

What makes this window so significant is a rare alignment forming overhead between Saturn and the Lunar Nodes. Saturn is the planet of karma, accountability, and long-term consequence — its entire function is to ensure that unresolved lessons don't get quietly carried forward. The Nodes, meanwhile, hold the axis of your soul's journey: the South Node marking what you are being asked to release, and the North Node pointing toward who you are becoming. When these two forces meet, the universe is essentially doing the books.

The Lunar Nodes complete a full cycle every 18 to 19 years. That means the contracts being closed right now — the relationships completing, the dynamics dissolving, the chapters reaching their final page — have roots that go back nearly two decades. Some you chose consciously. Many you inherited: family patterns, relational wounds, survival strategies that made sense once and have been quietly running your life ever since. Saturn and the Nodes together are surfacing all of it, not to punish you, but to give you a chance to set it down before your next chapter begins.

If something or someone exits your life this week, resist the urge to chase it. What is leaving has fulfilled its purpose. The karmic debt attached to it has been settled, and the space it leaves behind is not a void — it is cleared ground. The life beginning on the other side of this bridge has been waiting for exactly this kind of room.

Exciting news! Interspecies councils – where the voices of the more-than-human world are heard – are now taking root in policy settings.

In the UK, 13 interspecies councils have recognised river rights since 2023, and a nature’s rights bill is building support. Around the North Sea, a growing coalition is exploring interspecies governance, while organisations are increasingly adopting ‘nature-centric governance’ like nature charters and appointing nature to boards.

From reimagining stewardship around London’s River Roding to shaping land use policy, interspecies councils are giving nature a voice in decision-making.

Last year, we hosted an interspecies council with Moral Imaginations and wyrd futures to represent the voices of rivers, animals, plants, and ecosystems. From this we created the first ever formal multispecies response to a UK government consultation (Defra's Land Use Framework).

Now, the work is going international.

This marks an encouraging step towards recognising the simple truth that humans are not separate from nature but deeply embedded within it. Our health, food systems and futures depend on the ecosystems we live alongside.

You are stronger, vibrating higher, and your guides are saying - go deeper, here are the last remnants, are you going to choose to sit in it and wallow or are you going to see it for what it is and step out. Calling your power back. You can choose it.

Sun/Chiron unites ego with the wound, resulting in a blend of courage and vulnerability. Here is the wounded pioneer- you move into new territory with pride because of what hurts.

Purpose is fuelled by pain - you're confronting the area of fear/weakness and making it part of your goals. You know the wound will never disappear so healing means coming to terms with this while choosing to live, not as a victim, but as an empathetic warrior.

Others who are wounded are drawn to your light.

Mercury/Neptune adds to the above with awareness of what transcends your immediate reality. The hot idea or impulsive remark is softened with compassion, imagination, spiritual vision. The new quest can take you further than you imagined and your eyes are opened to something magical. The blunt remark is infused with empathy as you somehow sense what the other person is going through. You see into the heart of the anger/passion and speak softly.

Finally, Mars (ruler of Aries) empowers all of the above with a harmonious aspect to Pluto. Conscious actions (Mars) are integrated with the great, unconscious current of dark power (Pluto) that flows beneath society. But you must take notice of the compulsive pull in a certain direction. And then you must act on it. When you do, you'll find your efforts have maximum impact - courage and initiative will have an intensity that amplifies your power. You'll be able to easily make changes in your surrounding environment without pushing others away.

F**k me. This is an ending and a half. My nervous system is tested to its fullness. And, you know what, my centre is holding. It’s amazing.
Always remember when things collapse around you, when things get really gritty, that the deeper you allow the death to go to brighter the spring will be.
I’ve come to learn that giving as much surrender and trust to endings means I’m making space for the newness. It’s all part of the process.
