🌟Are you ready? What Should Be in Your Foaling Kit? 🌟
Foaling season is an exciting time, but preparation is key to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of both mare and foal. A well‑organised foaling kit allows you to act quickly and confidently if assistance is needed.

Here’s a recommended list of foaling‑kit essentials:
🔹 General Essentials:
• Towels
• Lubricant
• Long‑sleeve gloves
• Scissors
• Vetwrap
• 1 metre of string (useful for tying the placenta if your vet needs to examine it)

🔹 For the Foal:
• Bottle and teat
• Probiotic paste
• Umbilical dips and a clamp
• E***a kit

🔹 After Foaling:
• A black bag for storing the placenta for your vet to check

🔹 Most importantly:
📞 Keep all emergency contact numbers—including your vet—somewhere clearly visible and easily reachable.

Being prepared gives your mare the best chance of a smooth foaling and helps you stay calm when it matters most.

Wishing everyone a safe and successful foaling season! 🐴🌼
