We are absolutely delighted to announce the launch of Baby Basics Lisburn! 💛

Baby Basics is here to offer a much-needed service to families in our community who are struggling to meet the practical needs of caring for a new baby. We’re so excited to begin supporting parents and carers in Lisburn and the surrounding areas with essential baby items — lovingly donated by our wonderful community. 👶🧺

Our amazing team of volunteers have already been hard at work sorting through the generous donations we’ve already received. Their dedication, care, and effort are truly the heart of this project — thank you to each and every one of you for everything you’re doing to get us ready to start helping those who need it most. 💕

Stay tuned for updates on how you can get involved — whether that’s through donating, volunteering, or helping spread the word.

Together, we can make a real difference for local families. 🙌

It was an honour to represent Links yesterday at Tandragee High School on their prize day. What a wonderful school, with some very talented, kind and humble young people.

We’ve been delivering counselling in this school for the last 6 years, and look forward to supporting this special school for the next.

Privileged to stand in solidarity with others tonight to honour and remember those affected by domestic abuse. The statistics shared were startling and the names of women who have died as a result of gender based violence a stark reminder of how many families have been impacted.

Today is World Mental Health day and some of our wonderful staff have been sharing some of the ways they are focusing on their mental health and wellbeing today and over weekend. It's a great reminder to be intentional about self care and has provided great inspiration to us all.

We love how schools value having independent counselling available in school and invite us to attend events for pupils and parents. We were at Portadown College earlier today for their Five Steps to Well-being Fair and Banbridge High school this evening as part of their Nurture in Education Parent Evening

Yesterday we had the privilege of attending the ‘Recovery in Motion’ Addiction Recovery Conference 2025. It was an incredible day filled with inspiring and deeply moving stories of recovery, resilience, and healing.

We came away encouraged and reminded of the power of hope, community, and the human spirit on the journey of recovery.

“Recovery is not about giving something up, it’s about building a more fulfilling life.”

Today is a day to raise awareness and come together to challenge stigma and nurture conversations. Su***de is happening and people are struggling. We should not ignore this.
