We were proud to attend Luton’s first Women’s Conference, organised by Luton Council 💙

Throughout the day we heard from councillors, the Youth Council and Sarah Owen MP, alongside workshops on domestic violence, engaging young girls in the community, women’s health and women’s careers.

Such an important space for women and girls in Luton and we’re grateful to be part of it 💙

World AIDS Day is always a meaningful moment for us ❤️‍🩹

Thank you to everyone who came to chat, learn and reflect with us this year.

We looked back at the past, celebrated the progress in HIV treatment, and reminded our community how important testing, support and stigma-free conversations still are!

Ending AIDS isn’t just about medicine - it’s about breaking the barriers that stop people getting the care, support and understanding they deserve ❤️‍🩹

Stigma, fear, lack of information and unequal access to care still affect too many people.

Talking openly, getting tested, sharing accurate information and supporting each other are all part of breaking those barriers.

Together, we can create a future where HIV is met with compassion, not judgement.

Every year on World AIDS Day, we take time to honour the lives lost during the HIV and AIDS crisis and to recognise how far treatment, testing and support have come, especially here in the UK ❤️‍🩹

HIV affects everyone. It isn’t limited to one community, identity or group. Globally, girls and women are among the most affected - a reminder of why continued awareness and access to testing matters.

Getting tested is simple and important, whether that’s through your GP or at your local sexual health clinic.

Early diagnosis and today’s treatment mean people living with HIV can live long, healthy lives.

Living with HIV can feel overwhelming - but you don’t have to face it alone.

Our friends at Positively UK offer peer-led support where people who’ve been there themselves guide you through the questions, judgements and uncertainty.

Whether you’re newly diagnosed or just need someone who gets it, peer support means connection, understanding and hope. 💙

Normalize doing health things together 💙💬

Getting tested doesn’t have to be a big, scary “solo mission.”

Go with a friend, make it part of your catch-up, grab a snack after - whatever makes it feel easier.

Looking after your sexual health is better with support, and testing regularly is one of the simplest ways to protect yourself and the people you care about.
