Salary: Newly Qualified Paramedic (registered after 1st September 2017)
Band 5 £26721 – £35,121 plus any unsocial hours enhancements relevant to the post as per the UK Lifesaver Company terms & Condition 2019
Registered Paramedic Band 6, £33,421 – £39121
(based on experience & evidence of current salary) plus any unsocial hours enhancements relevant to the post as per the UK Lifesaver Company Terms & Conditions 2019
Hours: 40 hours per week
Base: To be determined as required by company.
Likely between Milton Keynes / Bedford / Lister.

The assessment process will be split into two stages; an initial Advanced Life Support (ALS) assessment and subject to successful completion of this you will then be invited to attend a final selection day to complete the remaining assessments which consist of a driving assessment, fitness assessment, interview, clinical OSCE and VIVA clinical case study.

Applicants must be registered with the HCPC and hold a full UK driving licence along with Category C1 entitlement with no more than 3 points (consideration may be given to applicants with up to 6 points on their licence but this will be reviewed on an individual basis).
This position involves a regulated activity which will require an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check. The disclosure will, where appropriate to the role, include information against the Independent Safeguarding Authority barred lists for working with children, adults or both.
Where a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check is required for the post, applicants are required to cover the cost of the check. The cost (£49 for an enhanced check or £30 for a standard/basic check) is payable to our online provider at the time that the DBS application is submitted.
