Upcoming FREE Family Health Event Day, designed to promote uptake of the HPV vaccine, and encourage cervical screening. There will be a wide range of family‑friendly health and wellbeing activities available (See the poster attached) Catch-up vaccinations for 2yrs+ according to the UK immunisation schedule will also be available. This includes the MenACWY vaccine (routinely offered to teenagers aged 13-14 (school year 9) in the UK, with catch-up available up to age 25)

This community event brings together local health, wellbeing and family services to support residents with:
💜HPV vaccinations for young people (Year 8+)

💜Arts & crafts and family‑friendly activities
💜Sunflower seed planting for World Down Syndrome Day
💜Smoking and va**ng support
💜Youth engagement activities and challenges

What Is Nutrition & Hydration
Week? 🥦💧
Nutrition & Hydration Week is a global awareness campaign that highlights the importance of good nutritional care in health and social care settings. Organisations use the week to promote best practice, share ideas and celebrate the role nutrition plays in supporting wellbeing and recovery.

For care providers, it also offers a valuable moment to pause and reflect. It is a chance to engage staff, involve residents and families, and consider whether current systems and knowledge are strong enough to consistently deliver safe and effective care.
