I can't recommend this book enough ❤️

The core theme of the book is that every life affects another, and no time or experience is ever truly wasted.

It's okay to admit it: Starting therapy can feel scary. 😬

Maybe you've been sitting on this decision for months, worried about the commitment, or just unsure of what to expect. That first step—sending the email, making the call—takes a tremendous amount of courage.

Let's break down the fear:

The Unknown: You don't have to "know what to say." Our first session is a gentle start, where we simply explore what brought you here and what you hope to gain. No pressure, no sudden deep dives.

The Vulnerability: It feels risky to open up. Remember, this is a confidential, non-judgmental space. My goal is to create a secure foundation where you feel safe to share as much, or as little, as you're ready for.

The Feeling of "Failure": Seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness. It means you're prioritizing your well-being and ready to build a better life.

If you’re ready to take that brave first step, I’m here to guide you. It's okay to be scared. It's also okay to get the support you deserve. ❤️

Attachment style. When you know, it all suddenly makes sense.

What are Attachment Styles?

Attachment styles are essentially internal working models—patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving—that people develop based on their early relational experiences. These models guide how they form expectations about love, intimacy, trust, and how available and responsive others will be to their needs.

Please do check out the fee Attachment style quizzes online and look up your Attachment style. It's a game changer for all your present and future relationships 🙌

With the help from AI - here is my adult self hugging my child self. There are so many things I'd love to tell my younger self. Mainly do not watch the TV series Lost. Your never get that time back again and the ending sucks!

Also children's TV will never be that good again, Fraggle Rock, Thundercats, Danger Mouse and 1990s Gladiators rules!!!

But TV aside, I'd love to tell her how much time was consumed thinking badly about what others thought about the way she looked.

Inner child work is some of the most powerful work you can do in therapy. Connecting with your inner child is a total game changer.

How Inner Child Work Helps in Adulthood
Inner child work is critical because unhealed childhood experiences often lead to destructive patterns and emotional struggles in adult life.
