This evening saw our volunteer crew complete two launch and recoveries in order for some of our shore crew to be assessed on their Shore Crew plans.

Coastal Lifeboat Trainer, Dave Needham said: ‘It has been a successful evening and the crew have worked hard on their training plans, well done to all involved.’

A huge thank you to Sandgate Parish Council for the incredible donation as a result of the Sandgate Sea Festival! 💙🧡

It was a pleasure to present a cheque for £1.024.22 to Vicky and Julie from the Dungeness RNLI Lifeboat Station at our Council meeting on Monday.

We were also delighted to hear from them on the work of the RNLI at Dungeness and the volunteers that turn out for calls 24 hours a day in all weathers. Incredible commitment.

The money was raised at this year's Sandgate Sea Festival from the "Barrow of Booze" which was led by Charlotte and the Bliss family, who joined us at the presentation. Thank you to everyone that bought a ticket, and the Bliss family for selling them!

🛟Join our fun and friendly crew. We have ALB boat crew and shore crew roles available., from ages 18-65.

🛟Crew training on Wednesday evenings at 7pm.
