My therapy room is now finally finished. Looking forward to now being able to see clients in this calm relaxing space. As we head into the new year why not book a session of hypnotherapy with me. I can help with a variety of issues including anxiety, stress, depression, phobias, habits, addictions, weight management, pain, relationship issues, performance enhancement, confidence and many more. I also do past life regression and relaxation sessions to balance your energy. I also work on-line for those of you who are not local to Lyme Regis, which is just as effective.

“I came to Clare with some resilience and boundary setting issues. My habits and automatic responses were so deeply ingrained in my subconscious I needed help to change them. Having trained with Clare I already knew she was brilliant and knew she’d be able to help me! She gave me a series of online sessions which worked perfectly. Clare has a lovely gentle manner and has the unique ability to put anyone at ease and feel relaxed and calm. She took the time to fully understood my issues and put together a series of bespoke sessions. These not only gave my self esteem a huge boost which I needed at the time, but also helped me to reframe my thought processes to more positive ones and set important boundaries. She also gave me tools to use including the ability to find calm instantly whenever I needed it. I would highly recommend Clare - she’s brilliant! Thank you Clare.

Just received this lovely review. Thank you ☺️

Do you suffer from a phobia or fear that is negatively impacting your life? Hypnotherapy can really help.

I work with a wide range of phobias including: a fear of dentists, flying, exams, spiders, heights, rats, MRI scans, claustrophobia, needles, school phobia, social anxiety and many more.

I offer a free hour consultation where I find out as much information as I can about your phobia. Then over 4 sessions we work on removing your phobia using different techniques. I can also use some past life regression which I’m trained in if needed. Our work will also impact other areas of your life, improving your self-esteem, confidence and giving you an increased sense of control.

Sessions are £60 and I can do face to face, home visits or on-line sessions. On-line works just as well
as face to face enabling me to see clients anywhere in the country.

If you’re interested in removing your phobia once and for all or have any questions please either drop me a line on here, give me a ring or send me an email. You can also visit my website.

Our own thoughts can often sadly keep us stuck. Becoming aware of our unhelpful thoughts and choosing not to believe them is the start of changing your mindset and improving your self worth. You are not your thoughts and by consciously changing any negative beliefs into positive ones you can start to step out of your comfort zone, you really can achieve all those things you strive for. By making this a part of your daily life you will soon start to notice changes, hypnotherapy can help too, it’s like having a confidence boost for your self esteem.

Halo active breath is a breath work technique used in Mindfulness and is an effective technique that I often use in hypnotherapy. It is simple, quick & easy to use & when done regularly it becomes automatic and an effective coping mechanism for dealing with stress and anxiety.

It’s a strategy that can be used to calm or energize. As you breathe in through your nose imagine you are breathing in energy and light and as you breathe out imagine you are breathing out tension and stress. Holding your breath for 2 activates the vagus nerve and parasympathetic nervous system. Making your outward breath longer than your inward breath instantly creates a feeling of calm.

When this breathing technique is done at a faster pace it can be used to energise. It can be a helpful tool for clearing brain fog.

Most of us have busy lives, meeting deadlines, juggling commitments… Sometimes we keep ourselves busy as a coping mechanism to deal with our worries, this can also be a symptom of ADHD restlessness, a way to contain energy more effectively. Whatever the reason for our busy lives balance is important, otherwise we risk being overwhelmed and burnt out.

Balance your life today with some time for you, even if it’s 1/2 an hour walk in nature or time to sit and relax in the sun. Life soon passes us by…by stopping today you are helping your mental well being and making memories….don’t let life pass you by!

Masking can really an affect individual’s mental well being. It affects self-esteem, confidence and prevents people from being their true authentic selves and living a fulfilling life. Masking hides a persons neurodivergent characteristics, so often you are unaware they may be struggling, sometimes an individual is so good at masking they are unaware of this themselves! This gives an insight into what someone.could be going through….

This illustration brings attention to the emotional labor behind masking, a survival strategy many neurodivergent individuals use to feel safe or accepted in social environments. The smiling face on the outside contrasts with the hidden distress underneath, showing how someone might appear fine while internally struggling with sensory overload, anxiety, or the fear of being misunderstood. Masking is not about being dishonest—it is about coping, blending in, and trying to avoid rejection. The message urges others to look deeper, to support beyond appearances, and to understand that a quiet “yes” or a polite smile might be covering a storm. True support comes from recognizing the hidden effort and creating spaces where people do not feel like they have to hide to be accepted.
