The first in a growing collection of Social Prescribing Resource Sheets created by Jurassic Coast Social Prescribers, bringing together trusted information, local support options, and practical guidance - in this case, to help anyone experiencing mental health challenges or supporting someone who is.

💚 Around 1 in 4 adults in the UK experience a mental health problem each year (Mind, 2023). Anxiety, depression, stress - these are common, not rare.

Weldmar Hospicecare is launching a new Bereavement Cafe in Lyme Regis this September, providing a vital local support network for anyone experiencing grief.

Starting today on Wednesday 3rd September at 10am - 12pm and running on the 1st Wednesday of every month.

The cafe will be hosted at Waffle Lyme Regis on Broad Street and welcomes all, regardless of whether their loved one was cared for by Weldmar.

The Harmony Mental Health Bridport Dorset Board Games Club is a vibrant community gathering that brings together board game enthusiasts to enjoy a wide variety of tabletop games.

💉Important Update: Our Autumn/Winter 2025 Vaccination Programme
Starting Saturday, 4th October, the Practice will be offering both flu and COVID vaccines at our clinics at our Lyme Regis Medical Centre.

• Patients will receive a text message with a link to book.
• If you don't have a smartphone — call us once you receive your text to book a slot.
• Additional clinic on Saturday 11th October — and more may follow if needed!

❗️Key Change to COVID vaccine eligibility this season:
The eligibility for COVID-19 vaccination has narrowed to focus on those at the highest risk of serious illness.

✅Now eligible:
• Adults aged 75 and over
• Care home residents (older adults)
• Immunosuppressed individuals aged 6 months and over
❌Not eligible (unless immunosuppressed):
• Adults aged 65–74
• Other clinical risk groups
