Sway Place, rated 'Outstanding' by the CQC, is a stunning, purpose-built care home in the New Forest National Park. The skilled team deliver a luxury lifestyle and an exceptional level of care and to all residents, including residential and dementia care on a respite or permanent basis. The home offers superb facilities, including a café, hair and beauty salon, library and five-acres of landscaped grounds. There is something for everyone, including activity rooms with a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities. There are separate 'households' in the home, as well as cottages set within the beautiful grounds where residents can live more independently whilst also enjoying all the benefits and facilities of the main home.

We were delighted to welcome Tickled Pink Productions this morning for their wonderful ‘Rags to Riches’ performance filled with singing, dancing, and a touch of sparkle.

The sparkly hat wearing was a real highlight, and it was thoroughly enjoyed by all. ✨

✨ Places of Interest. Another Wonderful Adventure 🚌 ✨

Residents had a fantastic day out at the Wi******er Science Centre and Planetarium
enjoying interactive exhibits and plenty of hands-on fun. The highlight was the stunning Van Gogh Immersive Experience, bringing the famous Sunflowers masterpiece to life 🌻

Lots of smiles, lovely conversations and even a little artistic inspiration along the way,
another special day spent together 💛

We had a lovely afternoon welcoming friends from the community to Sway Place Care Home
for our regular Friendship Fish & Chip Friday event. Guests enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by our fabulous catering team, followed by a fun picture quiz and great conversation 🫶

ℹ️ This event takes place on the second Friday of every month, 11.30am – 1.30pm, and is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, get to know our friendly team and experience life at our beautiful home ✨

We are so proud of our head chef Alan 🧑‍🍳

Alan has been named a finalist in Care UK chef of the year competition, competing against talented chefs from homes across the country.
Good food is an important part of life at Sway Place, and Alan and his team put their heart into creating delicious meals that residents and love ones enjoy everyday 🍽️

Residents and colleagues are all cheering him on 👏👏 as we wait for the winner to be announced this Thursday, good luck Alan you’re always a winner to us 🌟

It’s been another fun and exciting week at Sway Place Care Home supporting Dementia Support Hampshire & IOW

Earlier this week we hosted our cake sale and today the team and residents took part in Denim for Dementia 👖👖

At Sway Place we are passionate about supporting residents living with dementia and raising awareness for the support available to individuals and families in our community 💙

Finally the rain has stopped long enough for everyone at Sway Place to get out and enjoy some fresh air! 🌤️

We made the most of it with a lovely stroll around the local Open Gardens at Woodside Park. It was wonderful to see all the beautiful plants and some very unusual and interesting garden features along the way! 🌸🌿

We also had the pleasure of meeting some very friendly local dogs, which brought plenty of smiles to our walk! 🐶

Most of all, we enjoyed the chance to stretch our legs, have a good chat, and catch up with friends. Days like these really do lift the spirits. 💚
