Sway Place, rated 'Outstanding' by the CQC, is a stunning, purpose-built care home in the New Forest National Park. The skilled team deliver a luxury lifestyle and an exceptional level of care and to all residents, including residential and dementia care on a respite or permanent basis. The home offers superb facilities, including a cafรฉ, hair and beauty salon, library and five-acres of landscaped grounds. There is something for everyone, including activity rooms with a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities. There are separate 'households' in the home, as well as cottages set within the beautiful grounds where residents can live more independently whilst also enjoying all the benefits and facilities of the main home.

Baubles boxed, tinsel tangled (again ๐Ÿ™„), and lights carefully packed away โ€” Swaybell says itโ€™s time to make room for the New Year! ๐ŸŽ†

Sheโ€™s snuggled between yoghurts, plotting her next snack adventure, and adding a tiny sprinkle of glitter wherever she can. Residents at Sway Place enjoyed a wonderful trip to the Regent Centre to watch the Beauty and the Beast pantomime. From the colourful costumes and catchy songs to the laughter and audience participation, it was a truly joyful experience for everyone. There were plenty of smiles, clapping, and shared moments of happiness throughout the show, making it a very special outing. Days like these create lasting memories and bring so much fun, connection, and excitement โ€” weโ€™re already looking forward to the next adventure! ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ’›

๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿงโ€โ™€๏ธ Swaybell has taken up birdwatching, and sheโ€™s very serious about it. Armed with a tiny notebook, a pair of elf-sized binoculars, and an endless supply of curiosity, sheโ€™s been spotted hiding behind shrubs, whispering to the birds, and taking notes on whoโ€™s โ€œnaughty or nice.โ€
Rumor has it she tried to teach a robin how to wear a tiny Santa hatโ€ฆ and might now be plotting a festive bird choir! ๐Ÿฆโœจ๐Ÿ˜‚

Glitter everywhere, tiny bows on the brushes, and more giggles than polish. What a wonderful Winter Wonderland event! ๐ŸŽ„ We were delighted to welcome Santa to his grotto, enjoy a festive Christmas sing-along with the amazing Friday Girls Choir, and share a truly special visit from Little Flyers Preschool Sway.
We also held a raffle, with all proceeds going to Oakhaven Hospice thank you to everyone who took part and supported this fantastic cause ๐Ÿ’š

๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿงโ€โ™€๏ธ Swaybell has officially moved into the libraryโ€ฆ and sheโ€™s taking her elf job very seriously. Sheโ€™s been spotted perched on top of the tallest bookshelf, peeking over novels and whispering plot spoilers to anyone whoโ€™ll listen.
She insists every book should have glitter, a festive hat, and maybe a tiny candy cane bookmark. If you hear mysterious giggles between the shelves, donโ€™t worry โ€” itโ€™s just Swaybell trying to teach the books how to dance. ๐Ÿ“šโœจ๐Ÿ˜‚
