In the most beautiful, chilled area of mainland Spain.
The retreat is in a large Spanish white townhouse in the centre of old town Tarifa.
We are staying in a beautifully renovated townhouse with private rooms and private en-suites

A typical day:
Sunrise yoga
Light breakfast
Morning yoga
Brunch
Free time - soo many options and only 5 min walk to beach
Activity and afternoon yoga
Evening for dinner, explore and shop in the old town

Does hypnobirthing mean a pain free birth?

No - Hypnobirthing doesn’t promise a pain free birth However, it helps you understand what happens to your body when you are in labour.

Helping you understand the:

Fear- tension - pain theory

Meaning - the more your body tenses and fights the bodies natural birth process - the more your body will experience pain - as it working against your body’s natural rhythm. Your uterus muscles will be working against eachother as opposed working in harmony.

Hypnobirthing isn’t just for pregnancy and birth - you will learn skills that will take you far beyond that!

You will learn breathing techniques and an awareness of how to manage and reduce stress to take you throughout your parenthood journey

Whats great about hypnobirthing is that you do it alongside your birth partner
They also learn the breathing techniques to help facilite a calmer environment and to help them and you stay focused, relaxed and empowered with your birth and your choices surrounding it.

It’s a practice that combines breathing, relaxation, visualisation, and mindset to help you feel calm and confident as you bring your baby into the world.

Through understanding how your body and mind work together in labour, you can:

🌸 Release fear and tension
🌸 Encourage your body’s natural birthing hormones
🌸 Feel more in control and connected to your birth experience

It’s about trusting your body, softening into birth, and creating space for calm and confidence — no matter where or how your birth unfolds.

What a beautiful day we had for our Feminine Retreat Day alongside myself and the amazing Fiona

We were joined by 14 amazing ladies 🌿

We danced, laughed, practised yoga, ate a yummy lunch.
After lunch we went on the most beautiful walk accross the grounds of
We all had headphones, and were guided by Fiona to move and dance amongst nature. It’s all about letting your inhibitions go and celebrating life and movement

Our day finished with some guided relaxation 🌿

Your nervous system has muscle memory.

Every time you slow down, breathe deeply, or unroll your yoga mat, you’re teaching your body what safety feels like.

Over time, these practices create pathways of calm within your autonomic nervous system — the part of you that controls your stress and relaxation responses.

The more often you enter that restful state during yoga or breathwork, the more your parasympathetic nervous system learns how to activate with ease — slowing your heart rate, softening your breath, and melting tension from the inside out.

That’s why sometimes, simply rolling out your mat can bring an instant sense of peace.
Your body remembers.

It recognises the safety, the stillness, the space you’ve created there before.

With each moment of stillness you create / you are training your nervous system a little more each time. Learning how to go from stressed to calm a little quicker each time

Try to carve out 5/10 minutes each day of gentle movement or stillness and you may start to see little changes in how you respond the everyday stresses of life 🌿

October is here🌿
Am I the only one who thinks October is the best month of the year?

There is an exciting feel to it. A sense of ‘change’ is in the air. leaves falling from the trees, weather becoming crisp but still so beautiful and sunny. Beautiful colours and sunsets. It’s so special.

I have lots of exciting plans for my yoga and Hypnobirthing coming up - looking forward to sharing over the coming weeks

My 1:1 postnatal yoga plans are designed to support you safely as your body heals and adapts after birth.

Each plan is tailored to your individual needs and can focus on:

🌿Rebuilding core and pelvic floor strength
🌿Supporting posture and easing common aches
🌿Encouraging relaxation and reducing stress
🌿Helping you feel confident in your body again

Sessions are held in my garden studio, online or in the comfort of your home, creating a calm and supportive space just for you.

I have recently had a lot of requests for a group class, however I am struggling to get a regular slot with my current schedule. However, I am also now offering private classes of small groups of up to three. Again, can be held on your home or my garden studio
