Self-mastery.
True yoga is a state - it unfolds in five stages, using the body as a gateway to self-mastery:
1️⃣ Physical
The outermost layer — awareness of the body through movement, alignment, strength, and flexibility. Most know yoga for this gross form.
2️⃣ Physiological / Energetic
A deeper connection to breath, prana (life force), and the subtle flow of energy is established.
3️⃣ Mental / Emotional
We begin to observe the mind — its reactions, distractions, and emotional patterns.
4️⃣ Wisdom / Intuition
From stillness, clarity arises. We start to distinguish ego from intuition, and noise from truth.
5️⃣ Bliss / Spiritual
At the center is connection — to self, to source, to peace. Not through effort, but through presence.
In west Yoga is often known for the movement — but slowly, something else begins to reveal itself. Awareness. Energy. Inner space.
And that’s where the real magic lives.
This journey inward builds presence, clarity, and grounded strength — qualities every leader needs, not just on the mat, but in how we show up in the world.
