Santa Dash day is here!!!

If you've not done so already, remember to pick up your fun run numbers and Santa suits from the Gates Hall at Lymington Community Centre (New Street, Lymington, SO41 9BQ) between 9am – 11am... last minute registrations also welcome.

Bring with you a copy of your booking confirmation (on phone/printed) if you can.

We hope to supply everyone with a Santa suit, however, your suit is not guaranteed and will
be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. You might like to bring a belt with you, as the belts supplied with the suits are unreliable.

If you prefer, you are welcome to wear any festive outfit rather than a Santa suit. If you are wearing your own suit or festive outfit, you still need to register and collect your fun run number.

On Wednesday 10th and 17th December, Reeds in Harmony & singers are supporting Oakhaven Hospice with an evening of live music and carol singing at The White Hart, Lymington.

This fun, festive performance by talented local musicians will feature all your favourite, foot tapping carols. Don’t know all the words to the classic Christmas songs? No problem, carol sheets will be available so everyone can join in!

Grab your Christmas jumpers and don’t miss out on this unforgettable evening raising money for Oakhaven Hospice.

Look what Elf has found! Thank you, New Forest Fruit, for donating fruit snacks for the Santa Dashers. Just like the Santa suits, they'll be available on a first come, first served basis!

Santa Dashers - a reminder that you can register, collect your fun run number and Santa suit (subject to availability) today at the Community Centre until 2pm, or 9-11am tomorrow.

This morning, the Town Mayor, Cllr Colm McCarthy has been in to collect his Santa suit

Cheeky Elf! This morning he's stowed away in the van with all the Santa suits, so that he can 'help' register Santa Dashers at Lymington Community Centre!!!

Our team will be in the Phoenix Room at the Community Centre from 10am to 2pm today:
🎅 If you have registered, you'll need to come and collect your fun run numbers and Santa suits
🎅 If you'd like to register, come along with payment to register, collect your fun run number and Santa suit.

Please remember, your Santa suit is NOT guaranteed - we have a finite number! They will be given out on a first come, first served basis. We encourage you to re-use your suit from a previous year, or dress as any festive character!

Tomorrow's Santa Dash route is slightly amended this year, due to roadworks. Spectators are very welcome - come and cheer on the Santas, it's a fabulous way to ease yourself into Christmas!

This week, Elf learnt to sew! Every Monday afternoon at the Coates Centre it is 'Sew with Sue' ...

Whether you'd like to learn how to sew on a button, mend a seam, find out how to work a sewing machine, or work on a bigger sewing project, Sue is here to help from 1.30 to 3.30pm every Monday. Drop in with your project, stay for a cup of tea or coffee and get sewing!
