WORLD DIABETES DAY //.
More than 95% of diabetes cases are type 2, which happens when the body can’t use insulin properly — and in many cases, it can be prevented. ❤️‍🩹

Here’s how to help prevent type 2 diabetes:
⚖️ Maintain a healthy body weight.
🏃‍♀️ Stay active with at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise each week.
🍎 Eat a balanced diet while limiting sugar and saturated fats.
🚭 Avoid to***co use.
💡 Symptoms can develop slowly and may go unnoticed for years, making regular screening and early testing essential.

Common symptoms of diabetes include:
🚰 Feeling very thirsty
🚽 Needing to urinate more often than usual
😴 Feeling tired
👁️ Blurred vision

I just wanted to share this incredible progress of one of my clients on the 12 Week Weight Loss programme.

She decided to do the 12 week programme a second time round so today has just completed her 24th session and has signed up for another 12 weeks to lose the final stone with full support along the way.
~•~
She’s a woman on a mission but this graph also shows that some weeks her weight stayed the same. Don’t let that put you off as it’s the overall consistency that matters over time- zoom out and look at the overall picture and the weight is plummeting! No journey is linear.

She said she’s not found it very difficult at all as it’s not a restrictive way of eating, and she now feels confident with how to eat for weight loss whilst also having some ‘treats’ throughout the week.

Also her energy and blood pressure have improved and we’re waiting for her latest cholesterol blood tests to come back to compare against her tests 3 months ago 🤞🤞

I’ve got a handful of clients on this weight loss programme currently, all of whom are heading in the right direction, all at different rates, with holistic support around food education and behaviour change.
