❤️ Premier League Defibrillator Fund – A Great Opportunity for Local Football Clubs
At Heartstart Lymm, we’re always looking for ways to help improve access to lifesaving equipment across our community. A new national initiative means local football clubs may now be able to secure a fully funded defibrillator (AED) for their site.
The Premier League Defibrillator Fund, delivered through the Football Foundation, is providing AEDs and external storage cabinets to grassroots football facilities across England. This programme aims to ensure that every pitch has quick, reliable access to a defibrillator — something that can make the difference between life and death.

📌 Why This Matters
Sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, at any age. Fast access to a defibrillator dramatically increases survival chances. This fund is a fantastic opportunity for local clubs to strengthen safety for players, volunteers and spectators.
If any clubs would like help understanding the process or advice on AED placement and community access, Heartstart Lymm is always happy to support.
Funded by the Premier League with support from The FA and Sport England, the Defibrillator Fund will allow for thousands of defibrillators to be installed at grassroots football facilities across England.
