Why do we do this.......simple answer, making a difference no matter how small is why Greg and the team at ISKOmed UK Limited do what they do. This short story is about a young woman (whose name we have redacted out of respect of her privacy) living with cerebral palsy who needed to stand. We went along and carried out a free assessment with our standing frames and as always courteously left without any obligation to her or her lovely physio.

Whilst Greg was in the property he could'nt help noticing the abundance of purple and pink everywhere and when he asked the client which her favourite colour was, Greg guessed pink by the way, she told him "actually purple...pink is my second favourite".

That was enough for Greg, he promised that should funding requests succeed then he would arrange for her standing frame to be Purple and Pink.....you'll see from the images the client was successful and true to his and ISKOmed UK Limited's word, and at no extra cost to the client, Purple and Pink was specially ordered, even a new logo was designed and "HOT Pink" lettering added to the frame ( a massive thank you to “Sign here" based in Worcester for all of their help with the logo design and signage).

The frame and the card says it all, but we wanted to go one better so wrapping paper (purple and pink) and a big bow were added prior to the delivery. The look of sheer excitement on the clients face as she tore away the wrapping paper and uncovered her very own personalised standing frame will stay with Greg forever.

We love what we do, we're passionate about what we do, and we know what we provide makes a difference to peoples lives....!

Then after all of that we got a card in the post saying thank you, not an easy to do text message or quick whatsapp, a card, a card in the post....that takes time and thought and energy....so thank you for the card and the kind words it makes all the difference to us too 💞
