𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲
Happy New Year to you! How are those New Year Resolutions going? As well as you hoped?
If you keep getting in your own way, you might be calling it 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲.
You make progress, then stall.
You decide to change something, then feel blocked.
You know what to do — but you don’t do it.
Two steps forward, three steps back…
Most people assume this means fear, laziness, or lack of discipline.
So they push harder. And the pattern stays.
Often, what looks like self-sabotage is actually 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
Earlier in life, your system learned a rule — logical at the time, but rooted in survival:
• If I stand out, something bad happens
• If I relax, I’m not in control
• If I want more, I’ll be disappointed again
These beliefs aren’t held in your thoughts.
They’re held in the body, in the nervous system, in your energy field.
That’s why insight alone doesn’t shift them.
You can understand where it came from and still feel stopped.
You can try really hard and the needle only moves a little.
When you move toward change — success, closeness, visibility, rest — your system seems to quickly apply the brakes.
Not to ruin things, but to keep you safe based on old information.
This is why people often say:
“𝘐’𝘷𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦.”
When the underlying energetic block is released, the struggle dissolves.
Action feels natural. Movement returns. Things begin to flow again.
If this sounds like you, this is the kind of work I do one-to-one.
You’re welcome to book a 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 to see whether it’s a good fit for you.
