Happy New Year to you! How are those New Year Resolutions going? As well as you hoped?

You make progress, then stall.

Most people assume this means fear, laziness, or lack of discipline.
So they push harder. And the pattern stays.
Often, what looks like self-sabotage is actually ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ณ-๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป.
Earlier in life, your system learned a rule โ logical at the time, but rooted in survival:
โข If I stand out, something bad happens
โข If I relax, Iโm not in control
โข If I want more, Iโll be disappointed again
These beliefs arenโt held in your thoughts.
Theyโre held in the body, in the nervous system, in your energy field.
Thatโs why insight alone doesnโt shift them.
You can understand where it came from and still feel stopped.
You can try really hard and the needle only moves a little.
When you move toward change โ success, closeness, visibility, rest โ your system seems to quickly apply the brakes.
Not to ruin things, but to keep you safe based on old information.
This is why people often say:
