Saturday 6/12/25

2 residents went shopping in town this morning. 1 had a visit from her brother & sister to sadly inform the resident that her mum had passed away & t hen they took her out into town shopping. In the afternoon, almost all of the residents (12 of them) went into town to look around the Xmas market. Several staff came to volunteer help to push the ones in wheelchairs so that no one missed out. They all really enjoyed themselves & the weather thankfully stayed dry for the time they were out.

2 residents went out shopping independently in town this morning. 1 was taken to his usual Sunday service but this was changed from morning to afternoon.Staff transported him there & back again for the afternoon service. 2 residents went home to the parents homes for the day. The rest stayed in relaxing in the lounges watching TV or playing games. Some were in their rooms listening to music

1 resident has been out shopping independently in town this morning. 2 others have attended the coffee morning at the OAP hall. In the afternoon, 3 ladies attended the Tea Dance at the community centre & 2 other were supported 1-1 to go shopping & visit a cafe for a drink & slice of cake.3 gents had their hair cut today & the others have been enjoying chatting or watching TV in the lounges

1 resident has been out shopping independently in town this morning. 2 have attended the coffee morning at the Methodist church & another has attended the surgery for her annual health check up. The others have been sat in the lounges watching TV, chatting, playing games or listening to music in their bedrooms.

3 residents have been out shopping independently in town this morning, 2 others have been out supported shopping in town with a member of staff & called into a cafe for a drink whilst in town where 1 resident met his mum. The others have been sat in the lounges watching TV, chatting, playing games or listening to music in their bedrooms.

All but 2 residents have been out for a group Christmas dinner with family & friends (22 people in total) some staff have helped to take residents there on their days off. All of them really enjoyed themselves socialising & the food was very good too. They all returned stuffed & happy

1 resident has been out shopping independently in town this morning. 2 other have attended the coffee morning at the OAP hall.In the afternoon 3 residents have attended the afternoon Tea Dance at the community hall & 2 others have been out shopping supported 1-1 by staff. 1 also went for a drink & piece of cake at a cafe while out in town too. The rest have been enjoying a karaoke afternoon to celebrate 1 of the residents 64th birthday

3 residents have been out shopping independently in town this morning. 1 was transported by staff to visit his mum at home, as shes still unable to visit him at the home following a recent fall. 1 resident was due to have a visit from her mum & going out for lunch but that was cancelled due to the bad weather. All the others stayed in keeping warm & dry in the lounges chatting watching TV or playing games

2 residents have been out shopping in town independently this morning. 1 was transported to & from his usual Sunday morning service at Hope House & returned in time for lunch. 1 had a visit from her mum which was cancelled from yesterday. Mum helped her sort out her clothes & bagged some up ready to go to the charity shop & then she took her out for lunch at the Beck followed by shopping in town. 1 resident has been out shopping independently in town, 1 resident has been supported by staff to go shopping & have a drink in a cafe where he met up with his mum. 1 resident was transported to Scamblesby to visit her elderly father for a few hours with staff & then picked back up again after lunch to return to the home. 6 residents have taken part in craft classes at the home & the rest have been chatting or watching TV in the lounges or playing games / music in their bedrooms

Friday 19/9/25

2 residents have been out shopping independently in town this morning 1 resident has been picked up by his mum & taken on home visit returning Saturday evening. the others have been sat watching TV in the lounges playing games or music. in the afternoon 1 resident had a visit from her elderly mum & her carer for a few hours. 1 resident was supported by staff to attend an appointment at the surgery

Saturday 20/9/25

2 residents have been out shopping independently in town this morning, 2 others have been supported 1-1 to go shopping in town & the in the afternoon another 4 residents have been supported 1-1 to go shopping in town too. The rest have been watching TV chatting or listening to music. 1 resident returned from home visit at his mums

Sunday 21/9/25

2 residents have been out shopping independently in town, 1 resident has been transported by staff to attend Sunday service at Hope House. 1 resident has gone on home visit to her parents for the day returned for dinner tonight. The rest have been relaxing in the lounges watching TV

Monday 22/9/25

2 residents have been out shopping independently in town this morning. 2 others were supported 1-1 to go shopping / having a drink & cake in town this afternoon & the rest have been relaxing in the lounges watching TV or playing games

Tuesday 23/9/25

1 resident has been out shopping independently in town this morning, 2 others have attended to the coffee morning at the OAP hall & in the afternoon, 2 residents were supported 1-1 to go shopping in town & had personal time / playing games in her room for 2 hours. 1 resident had a home visit appointment for injections from the OT team from Lincoln hospital. The others were relaxing in the lounges

Wednesday 24/9/25

1 resident went out shopping independently in town & 2 others attended the coffee morning at the Methodist church. 2 residents were in the hot tub supported by staff in the afternoon. The others were watching TV in the lounges listening to music or playing games

Thursday 25/9/25

2 residents went shopping independently in town, 2 others were supported to go shopping in town with staff & 1 met his mum in a cafe. 1 has had a visit from her friend from Wales who is in town for a few days & then they went out in to town for lunch. The others have been watching TV in the lounges or listening to music in their rooms

Friday 26/9/25

2 residents have been out shopping independently in town, all residents have had their toe nails done by the podiatrist who visited the home today. 1 resident has been out in town again with her friend from Wales. 2 sisters had a visit from their sister for a few hours at the home. 2 others have been out shopping supported 1-1 by staff & the others have been relaxing the in lounges watching TV

2 residents have been out shopping independently in town this morning, 1 had a visit from his mum & 1 had a final visit from her friend before he goes back home to Wales. 1 resident had been out 1-1 supported shopping & the rest have been sat in the lounges watching TV chatting playing games or listening to music

2 residents have been out shopping in town independently this morning. 1 has been transported to & from his Sunday service at Hope House & the others have been relaxing in the lounges watching TV or listening to music in their rooms
