Old Roman Bank Sandilands to Chapel St Leonards Carriageway Reconstruction.

Dear Resident,

We are approaching the final few weeks of surfacing operations around Anderby Creek.

The final surfacing locations and dates are as follows:-

10/03 -11/03 – Daytime – Roman Bank/Anderby Junction – Lay surfacing foundation layers. No access to Anderby Creek from Anderby village. All residents/visitors to caravan sites to follow signposted diversion.

17/03 - Daytime – Roman Bank/AnderbyJunction – Final surfacing. Road open in the evening. No access to Anderby Creek from Anderby village. All residents/visitors to caravan sites to follow signposted diversion.

18/03- 19/03 - Nighttime 7pm-6am – Resurfacing Sea Lane into Anderby Creek Village from Roman Bank to Occupation Lane. Limited access to Anderby Creek.

Through traffic is to follow the signposted diversions. Dates are subject to change dependant of weather and progress.

Old Roman Bank Sandilands to Chapel St Leonards Carriageway Reconstruction.
To Whom it may concern,
Due to unforeseen circumstances the Dates and times of surfacing works a have changed.
Surfacing works around the Sea Road/Roman Bank junction are now planned to take place between 05/03/2025 and 07/03/2025 for 3 days
These works are to take place under a full road closure during the day. Residents of Anderby creek village shall be diverted north, along Roman Bank towards Sandilands. Through traffic is to use the sign-posted diversion route. Please speak to the gatemen at the closure points for help with access and egress.

Dates are subject to change dependant of weather and progress. LCC apologises for an inconvenience caused during these essential works. If you have any questions, please get in touch.
