We are honoured to have es**rted a dearly loved husband, dad, grandad and great grandad on his final journey.
His chuckle that arrived before a punchline, a gentleman who would hold a door open without a second thought, who grew roses with real tenderness, who had firm opinions on the colour blue …… and who faced every challenge that life placed in front of him. Rest now George, may your days be gentle and your roses always bloom.

Barbara Kendrick - Barbara aged 87 years of Macclesfield (formerley of Bramhall), suddenly passed away at home on Wednesday 18th March 2026. Dearly loved mum and best friend of Sara and Nigel, much loved nanna of Danielle and loving "Baba" of Albie. Barbara will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Graham Christopher Whalley - Graham aged 65 years of Macclesfield, unexpectedly passed away at home on Tuesday 10th March 2026. Dearly loved dad of Ric, Gemma, Michael and Rebekka, much loved grandad of Daniel, Jason, Talia, Demi-Leigh, Jordan-Kyle, Paige and Logan and loving brother of David, Nigel, Andy, Helen and Ali, he will be greatly missed by all his family and many friends.

The funeral will take place on Tuesday 14th April 2026 with a Celebration of his Life at Macclesfield Crematorium at 2.00pm. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent for The COPD Foundation.

We were honoured to es**rt David on his final journey in the bespoke Manchester United Hearse as a fitting tribute for his support of his favourite football team.
David to many who loved him, and known as Elly to many more, he was very particular about that “Y”, there was simply no other way to spell it, as far as he was concerned.
David was a beloved husband, much loved dad, devoted grandad, loving brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend and he gave something unique and irreplaceable to every one of those roles. The laughter, the banter, the warmth, the straight-talking wisdom, and yes, the occasional need to explain to him, very gently, that you had absolutely no intention of watching another ninety minutes of football.
David (Elly) go with the mighty Reds in the sky, your time here is now done, rest now - forever one of United’s own.

We were honoured to es**rt a dearly loved dad, brother, grandad and great grandad on his final journey. His service reflected upon a life well lived, comfortable with a trowel in his hand at the allotment as he was cheering on the lads at Old Trafford. He built his world with skill, humour and an unwavering love for his family. A mate to so many, he could be relied upon for straight-talking advice and a decent pint of Boddies. Chris, your legacy will remain in the hearts of all who knew you, your journey here has ended, now time for you to rest.

Beloved and loving husband of Glenis, proud and loving father of Jonathan and Simon and dear father-in-law to Angie and Debbie, his grandchildren Jack, Tom, Sophie and Will meant the world to him, he will be sadly missed.
