We are privileged to have es**rted Mick on his final journey. His presence brightened every room he entered, his loyalty never wavered and whose dry wit could lift spirits on the greyest of days. Please remember him for the glint in his eye, the banter that never stopped and a heart of gold that meant you could always depend on him. Rest now Mick, your work here is done.

Annie, Chris and families would like to express their sincere and grateful thanks for the kind messages of sympathy and donations received in memory for The East Cheshire Hospice. Thanks are also extended to Kit Hurstfield for his comforting ministrations and to The Chester Road Tavern for their hospitality.

David Ellis - Elly aged 73 years of Macclesfield, passed away at home peacefully as he wished with his beloved Wife Rose by his side on Tuesday 3rd February 2026.
Dearly loved Dad of Steve and Shaz, cherished "Silly Grandad" of Jorge and Jack, loving Father In Law of Kirsty and Andy, Beloved Son of the late Ted and Ethel Ellis and treasured Brother of Janet, Geoff, Suzanne, Gillian and the late Patricia.
Elly will be sadly missed by all his family and many, many friends.

The results of the poll are in ….. East Cheshire Hospice with 59% of the votes. Thank you to everyone who took time to vote, much appreciated, we will get £525 to the hospice. Let’s see how much we can raise for next years charity.

We received beautiful words inside a thoughtful card, along with chocolates, from a family we supported during a time of loss. We don’t expect gratuities, but moments like this quietly reaffirm the value of what we do. ❤️

It was our profound privilege to es**rt a dearly loved husband, dad and grandad on his final journey. The service led by Kit Hurstfield resonated with heartfelt stories that filled the chapel with warmth.

Joe Anthony Taylor - Joe aged 37 years of Macclesfield, suddenly passed away on Wednesday 7th January 2026. Dearly loved son of Sarah and Joe and stepson of Stuart, much loved brother of Laura, Emily, Freya, Faith and the late Grace, loving dad of Elise and treasured uncle of Rudy and Freddie. Joe will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

We were honoured to es**rt a beloved mother on her final journey, fulfilling her wish for an unattended funeral.
Her desire was not merely to depart quietly but to allow her loved ones the space to remember her in their own way. We had the privilege of arranging a beautiful memorial service, providing the family with an opportunity for closure and the chance to bid farewell to a remarkable woman.
A life lived to the fullest, filled with cherished memories and the love she imparted to those around her.
As we laid her to rest, we ensured that every detail was attended to with dignity and care, reflecting the warmth and kindness she offered in life. It was a heartfelt tribute that honored her legacy and the enduring impact she left on her family and friends

Chris Macdonald - Chris aged 70 years of Macclesfield, suddenly passed away on Saturday 10th January 2026. Dearly loved dad of Chris, Angela, Ste and Charlotte, much loved brother of Roy, Andrew, Sandra and the late Mick and the late Alan and a loving grandad and great grandad who will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Her family created a beautiful personalised coffin, covering every side with photographs that told the story of a life full of love, laughter, and precious memories.
Your journey here may have ended Rose, but you travel on in the hearts of those who love you. You leave behind a legacy that will never fade.
