Heart Age:
🫀 What the Heart Age Calculator Does?
The tool compares your real age with an estimated heart age, based on well known cardiovascular risk factors. A higher heart age suggests a higher long term risk of heart disease or stroke.

It’s designed for people who:
- Are 30 to 95 years old
- Live in the UK
- Do not already have cardiovascular disease

🧭 What You’ll Get at the End
You’ll receive:
- Your estimated heart age
- An explanation of what that means
- Suggestions for improving heart health, such as:
• Increasing physical activity
• Improving diet
• Stopping smoking
• Managing weight
• Checking blood pressure and cholesterol regularly

NHS Health Checks:
An NHS Health Check is a free check up offered every 5 years to adults aged 40 to 74 who don’t already have certain long term health conditions.

Its purpose is to spot early signs of problems that can affect your heart, blood vessels, and overall health—especially conditions that often have no symptoms, like high blood pressure or high cholesterol.

We have a fantastic team of Telephone Befriending volunteers at Waters Green Medical Centre, who support patients with regular phone calls.
