Children under 6 are now being offered the MMRV vaccine instead of MMR as part of the NHS routine childhood vaccination programme.
This replaces the existing MMR vaccine and adds protection against chickenpox, alongside measles, mumps and rubella.
You don’t need to do anything — your GP will contact you when your child is due.

Are you up to date with your cancer screening?
Cancer screening is for people without symptoms. In the UK, national cancer screening programmes are run by the NHS.
In most cases, eligible people are invited automatically. But you can use our screening checker to see if you’re eligible to take part, and if you want to take part but are worried or have questions, our celebs can help.
Cancer screening aims to spot cancer at an early stage, when treatment is more likely to be successful. Some types of screening can also prevent cancer from developing in the first place.

🎄 Coping at Christmas 🎄

The holidays aren’t easy for everyone. Here are 4 simple ways to look after yourself and others:

✅ Connect and say hello, meet a friend, or volunteer. Small interactions can lift your mood.
✅ Plan your days as structure helps, especially if you’re feeling lonely or grieving.
✅ Self-care matters – Rest, say no when needed, and do things you enjoy without guilt.
✅ Reach out as support is always available: Samaritans & Cruse Bereavement Care are here to help.

Take time to check in on colleagues, family, and friends. And on yourself too. 💙
