🌟 Friday Feedback 🌟

Sometimes it’s the simplest words that remind us why we do what we do.

This week, we received a lovely comment from our client Jim, and it truly touched our team. Jim shared:

“I enjoy having the company.”

Such a small sentence, yet it says so much. For many of the people we support, companionship is just as important as practical care — and knowing that our visits bring comfort, conversation, and connection means the world to us.

Jim also shared that he appreciates and follows the advice we give, which is wonderful to hear. Building trust and supporting independence is a big part of what we do at Ablewell Care, and feedback like this shows the value of those everyday moments.

💛 World Kindness Day 💛

Today is World Kindness Day — a day dedicated to encouraging kindness in our daily lives and raising awareness of the positive impact it has on our health and overall wellbeing.

At Ablewell Care, we’re proud to support this day… but for us, kindness isn’t just for today. It’s at the heart of everything we do, 365 days a year (or 364 in a leap year! 😉).

From staff to clients, and staff to staff, kindness guides every visit, every conversation, and every moment of care.

Remembrance Day

At Ablewell Care, we have produced a short video of the poem In Flanders Fields to share with our clients during our visits today.

Many of the people we support hold personal memories and family stories of service and resilience — powerful reminders of the courage, unity, and hope that carried a generation.

This beautiful poem brings those memories to life and gently reminds us why Remembrance Day remains so important. ❤️

🕯️ Remembrance Sunday 🕯️

Today, we paused to remember and honour all those who served and sacrificed for our freedom.

The Ablewell Care team accompanied David, an RAF veteran, as we joined the community in Sandbach to pay our respects and reflect on the bravery of so many.

Many of the people we support shared personal memories and family stories of service and resilience — reminders of the courage, unity, and hope that carried a generation.

As we observed the two minutes’ silence, we said with heartfelt gratitude:
We will remember them. ❤️

Please remember to look out for our more vulnerable family members and neighbours — loud noises can be unsettling or confusing for some people. 💙

Our Ablewell Care Team will be keeping this in mind as they visit clients over the weekend, ensuring everyone feels safe, calm, and cared for. 🌟
