Clever new glasses fitted for MrsW this morning!

Transitions XTRActive Polarized Varifocal lenses from Caledonian Optical.

They go dark in the sun but are also fully Polarized so filter glare, even in lower light levels. They also darken behind the windscreen to give the best visual comfort when driving.

She's off to Spain later this month for some much needed sunshine to test them out!

A big thank you to local Ophthalmologist Chris Hemmerdinger for visiting us this morning. Chris is the Glaucoma consultant and Clinical Lead in the local eye department at Macclesfield. He also has a private clinic at Spire Regency Macclesfield.

He was one of Sarah's supervisors when she qualified as an Independent Presciber in 2017. They both enjoyed the eye-talk and a catch up!! 👀☺️👁️‍🗨️
