Last year my client went for a gait analysis and was told she was severely overpronating & “needed” a specific type of running shoe.

Fast forward to now… she goes back and is told she has a neutral gait

Same person.
⚡️⚡️Different strength, stability, and control.

Pronation isn’t always a problem. But sometimes it’s a sign your body is compensating because it doesn’t quite trust itself under load.

Instead of trying to “fix” her feet, we focused on:
• building lower body strength
• improving single-leg control
• increasing load tolerance through the hips, knees, and ankles

And when the body feels stronger and more stable, it often stops needing to compensate.

You can’t expect to build a house on a shaky foundation 🏡

You’re working incredibly hard, pushing for PBs and squeezing in sessions between meetings BUT

There is a performance tax you’re paying without realising it.
❌ limited range of motion
❌ constant niggles stopping consistency
❌ training through fatigue because you think you should

As a coach and massage therapist i see both sides of this - don’t just move more, i’m here to help you move BETTER 🏋🏽

little things last week that made me haapppyyy !!! even though I was down BAD with a cold and my head was super duper foggy 😶‍🌫️

I found lots of pleasure in my new coffee machine ☕️ (who likes my mug?)

filling the house with flowers 🌷

going for walks with family ❄️ and

replacing lamp shades to give the kitchen a pop of colour 🌸

not to be negative but i also smashed my fav jug which was very sad but STILL i found the joy and had a giggle relating it to a scene from the housemaid !! which i also watched this week with fam 💕 let’s go 2026 !!
