I love this recognition from BAPT 💖🏴 Being a bilingual Welsh/English Play Therapist is important to me and the community I support.
Having a registered body that also acknowledges the differences in legal, statutory duties and policies also support our practise.
Diolch
From rolling valleys to bustling communities, Welsh Play Therapists offer children a safe, consistent, and nurturing space to explore their inner worlds through the language of play. Their work reflects deep compassion, creativity, and a commitment to supporting children’s emotional wellbeing, often during their most vulnerable moments.
In the spirit of St David’s words, “Gwnewch y pethau bychain” — “Do the little things” — Play Therapists understand that it is often the smallest interactions, the quietest moments of connection, and the gentlest acts of attunement that create the biggest shifts for a child.
Today we honour the dedication, skill, and heart of Welsh Play Therapists, who continue to make a profound difference in the lives of children and families every day.
💚 Diolch yn fawr for all that you do. 💚
