We’re launching our Crowdfunder for the Bron Yr Aur Peace Garden.
We are transforming a corner of Bron Yr Aur into a Peace Garden: a collective installation that blends nature conservation with a shared artistic vision, a real-world declaration of peace and collaboration.
This is a living, artistic statement of global collaboration, built by you.
I really am grateful for the many messages and emails I received about deeper involvement with the micronation, and I have listened – the one clear message was that many of you would really welcome a simple physical boots on the ground plan and one that starts right away…. I couldn’t agree more…
Amid everything happening with the wider micronation project, this is the most grounded, real-world part: spade-in-the-ground, boots-on-the-earth work. Digging, planting, restoring. And I’ve already made a start.
By supporting it, you become a Peace Guardian, with your name placed directly into the landscape. If you are not already a citizen, you also receive one year’s citizenship of the Bron Yr Aur Micronation, joining a community focused on creativity, sustainability, and wellbeing.
The project also supports real-world peace work, with a percentage of all funds donated to the international charity ‘Peace Direct’, helping support local peacebuilders in conflict zones.
The Bron Yr Aur Peace Garden is a real symbol of collective hope in a changing and uncertain world. The garden will include the Shoreline of Names, a Peace Line of flags, and a thriving habitat for wildlife.
As part of this, we are also rebuilding our volunteer programme. All donations include an invitation to apply for future free digital detox retreats or volunteer stays at Bron Yr Aur.
It will also help restore our small cabin at Bron Yr Aur, after many tough winters, it is really in need of some much-needed care and attention! A new glamping setup will also be purchased, and again, we can then make this available for volunteering and retreats, sitting right within the peace garden itself :)
I very much feel like I’m actually starting this thing now, yes, there are lofty, progressive and radical plans afoot, but now that there is a plan that involves shovelling, barrowing and planting, I feel more at ease. This is where it begins.

Finally, a cool element of the peace garden is that donors will be kept in the loop with updates, wildlife sightings and even wildlife trail camera images as and when they arrive :)
