Silence in Sound hand-selects practitioner quality Himalayan 'Singing' Bowls and is the original and exclusive UK importer of The Original Singing Gongs; additionally we source genuine tribal and Shamanic sound and ritual instruments during our annual visits to the Himalayas. Silence in Sound is independent of any religious organisation and we respect all belief systems.

Building on the great success we continue to enjoy through our Creative Sound Workshops, we will be launching very soon several additions.

Beginner Level: 1. Singing Bowls - 2. Flumie-Playing & 3. Gong. Designed as taster-days for those that just want to have a go, take a little peak into the world of sound before having to commit to a much more extensive and costly course.

Advanced Level: Creative SoundScaping 2 - following on from our already popular Creative SoundScaping, this (part 2) module evolves your Sound Journey practice onto yet another level. Here we introduce the more technical areas of amplification and electronic effects and how these can enhance your own unique sound offering, taking you and your sound journey into a completely new realm of sound.

Full programme details will be released soon; but in the meantime we are inviting you to express your priority interest.

FOR SALE: Metal Harp (diatonic, d. ø 12 mm, 12 tones) by master Sound Artist Jochen Fassbender.

The Metal Harp produces an extremely ethereal and angelic sound; Thin, tuned, copper tubes of graduated lengths are supported in a wooden frame. The sound tubes are rubbed with fingertips dusted with rosin powder. This creates very fine, gently swelling, light-like sounds.
