Supporting your Autistic Child to Thrive
through Connection and Play
Thursday February 17th from 7.00pm - 8.00pm

In an information rich age, parents can often find themselves drowning in an over-abundance of systems and programmes all claiming to be exactly what they’re looking for. They are often under pressure from social media to do this/do that. This webinar offers a guide to navigating through this sea of confusion and to creating a little lifeboat that supports both the child and the family by keeping it simple and focusing on the most important things. Mary suggests focusing on three simple questions and shares her six steps towards building relationships based on trust and co-operation.

About Mary McKenna:
With a Masters in Education (Autism), Mary is a strong advocate for young children to make sense of the world as they experience it, thereby reducing stress and increasing regulation. Her work empowers the family to support the development of the child’s social and emotional understanding; social communication and flexibility of thought and behaviour through everyday play.
