Buick - William Alexander (Sandy), died peacefully after a short illness, on the 5th March 2026 at the Royal Victoria Hospital, late of Belmont Care Home, Belfast. He will be missed by all his Family, especially His Wife Betty. Dearly loved Father of Gary, Lynne and David and their Partners Lorraine, Mark and Kathy, loving Grandfather of Conor and Jonathan, much loved Brother of George, Irene and the late Tom and Brother-in-Law of Dave, Pat and the late Mary. Gordon, Brothers, Sisters and entire Family of the late Joyce Annette Newett, 3 Sprucefield Drive, Maghera would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with us in our recent loss of Joy.
Thanks to all the Carers for the exceptional care and dignity provided to Joy and to the District Nurses and Staff of Antrim Area Hospital's Renal Unit. A huge thanks to the staff and many friends of Maghera Day Centre for their love and support, we as a family will be forever grateful.
Thank you to everyone who attended the wake and funeral and to those who sent messages and sympathy cards.
Sincere thanks to Rev Trevor Boyd for conducting the Funeral Service, to the organist Charlotte and the grave diggers. A huge thanks to Edith Blair and Staff for providing the funeral tea.
Grateful thanks to everyone who donated to the Renal Unit in memory of Joy.
