A beautiful young lady, passed from this world tooo soon but left a legacy of heartfelt words about living life and not just existing in life. Blessings RIP š
š A final message from Holly Butcher ā written the day before she passed away from cancer, at only 27 years old:
āItās a strange thing ā to know youāre going to die young.
At 26, I thought I still had timeā¦
To fall in love.
To build a family.
To grow old.
But cancer doesnāt care about your plans.
Now I finally understand how fragile life truly is.
Every single day is a gift ā not a guarantee.
Iām not writing this to scare you.
Iām writing it to remind you: please, live fully.
Stop stressing about the small stuff.
Be kind to your body ā move it, feed it, stop criticizing it.
One day, youāll wish you had appreciated it more.
Step outside.
Look at the sky.
Feel the sun.
Just be.
Spend less time chasing āthingsā ā and more time creating memories.
Donāt skip the moments with the people you love.
Laugh often.
Write a note.
Tell someone you love them.
Complain less.
Give more.
Helping others brings a kind of happiness no purchase ever will.
Be present.
Put down your phone.
Show up ā really show up.
You donāt need to have it all figured out.
You donāt need a perfect body or a perfect life.
Follow what lights up your heart.
Say no to what drains you.
Change what needs to be changed.
And please ā donate blood.
I wouldnāt have had that extra year without it.
And that year gave me memories Iāll carry⦠forever.
Thank you for reading this.
Live your life well.
And maybe⦠weāll meet again someday.ā
ā Holly š
⨠A beautiful, heartbreaking reminder to stop waiting for āsomeday.ā
Live now. Love deeply. Be kind ā to yourself, and to others. š
