Most people don’t realise that low stomach acid is the root cause of bloating, reflux, poor digestion, and even nutrient deficiencies. But instead of reaching for meds, here’s how to fix it naturally:

- Start your day with lemon water 🍋 and even a small amount before meals. ACV also works great.
- Eat bitter foods before meals to stimulate acid. So many are missing these in the diet. 🥬
Focus on proper chewing (sounds silly but it’s so important!) 👄
Lower stress when eating and in general. 😌

Other things I did not mention that can help:
-Priotise zinc & B vitamins through food or supplements.
-Celtic salt under the tongue before your water for minerals. Chloride is needed to make HCL🧂
-Avoid drinking water WITH meals 💧
- Prioritize whole, unprocessed foods for gut support 🌱
- Cut down on processed foods and sugars which create an acid imbalance. 🍭

Fixing your stomach acid can change EVERYTHING like better digestion, more energy, clearer skin, and better nutrient absorption.

Hormonal breakouts are often a hormone signalling issue🧬

A lot of the time, breakouts around the chin/jawline, especially before your period, are linked to low or poorly functioning progesterone and a androgen (oil-producing hormone) dominance.

How does Agnus castus work here?
It works from the brain, by helping regulate prolactin through dopamine, which then supports ovulation and progesterone production.

When progesterone is working properly, it helps balance out those androgens that increase excess oil and inflammation in the skin.

Agnus castus has often been used as a natural herb to support

I find a lot of hormone advice skips this part…

So your ovaries aren’t in charge on their own, your brain is!

The hypothalamus and pituitary are constantly sending signals and even small disruptions here can impact your ovulation and progesterone levels. So your cycle can look fine on the outside, but not be functioning optimally underneath.
This is why surface-level fixes don’t always work for everyone.

Agnus castus is one of the few things that actually works through this pathway by modulating prolactin via dopamine, which can influence the whole hormonal cycle. How interesting is that!
Personally, it has been a massive help for me.

Let’s talk hormones! If you feel more anxious, snappy or just not yourself before your period… this can often be why.

It’s not just progesterone being low, it can be that your body isn’t responding to it properly.

Prolactin can rise in that phase and block the calming effect progesterone should have.

This is exactly where agnus castus comes in.

It works through the brain, helps bring prolactin down, and allows progesterone to actually do what it’s meant to.

Your body cannot heal properly in fight or flight. Yet so many of us are living in this state every day.

Parasympathetic state = rest, repair and healing

Constant stress keeps the nervous system in sympathetic mode, which means the body is focused on survival instead of repair.

Things like proper sleep, stress management, and foundational nutrients like minerals play a huge role in supporting the nervous system and helping the body shift back into rest and repair mode.

I want to encourage you to stop asking:
how do I get rid of this symptom?

But instead ask yourself:
What does my body actually need right now?

Often it comes back to the foundations. And these are simple!

Every single thing we do to our bodies is either supporting it… or working against it.

If you spend almost any time on social media, you start to realise… there are these ‘perfect’ people out there, and you don’t look like that.

It’s exhausting and the message is constant, telling you to change something about yourself. Because being yourself isn’t enough

But we need to remember that these “standards” didn’t appear by accident.
They were created. And are very profitable.

Insecurity is a business model.
Convince women they’re not enough, and they’ll spend their lives trying to become enough.

And here’s the catch. Even when people change the outside, they still don’t feel enough. That is a fact.
Because feeling enough isn’t an external job. It’s internal!

I definitely don’t look like the internet’s preferred version of a woman.
I have thin lips. My teeth aren’t perfect.
I have lines around my eyes and mouth from smiling.
I have marks left from hormonal acne.
I don’t get filler or treatments.

And you know what, I’m 100% with that.
Because I’ve realised no external change will ever do the internal work for me.

Growing older is a privilege.
Living with expression is a privilege.
Being able to show up as yourself is a privilege.

You are more than what you look like.

Work on who you are.
Be kind.
Build something meaningful.
Follow your purpose.
That’s where ‘being enough’ lives.
